Poker Bankroll Tracker ("the app", "we", "us") is an app for live poker players to record their sessions and track their bankroll. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.
The app works fully without an account. By default everything you log stays only on your device. The cloud features described below apply only if you choose to create an account and sign in.
When you use the app without signing in, all of your data — poker sessions, buy-ins, cash-outs, profit and loss, bankrolls, venues, tags, notes and app settings — is stored locally on your device only. We cannot see it and it is never transmitted anywhere.
The app's player-notes feature lets you attach a photo to an opponent profile so you can recognise them again. Photos are chosen from your device's gallery only — the app does not open the camera, and there is no in-app camera capture. Photos are resized and saved as small JPEG files in the app's private storage on your device.
Photos are stored only on your device. They are not included in cloud backup at this time, even if you are signed in. If you reinstall the app or restore your data on another phone, the photos themselves will not come across; the rest of your notes will.
Your responsibility: many live poker rooms and casinos prohibit photography at the tables. You are responsible for obeying the rules of the venue you are in. The app does not check or enforce these rules.
Creating an account is optional and exists for one purpose: backing up your data so it survives losing, resetting or replacing your phone. If you sign in, we collect and store:
Your backup is stored in a single record tied to your account. Database security rules ("Row-Level Security") enforce that only your own signed-in account can read or write your backup; no other user can access it.
Your data is used only to provide the app's features:
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties for advertising or marketing. The app contains no ads and no third-party analytics or tracking.
Cloud accounts and backups are hosted on Supabase, our infrastructure provider, which stores this data on our behalf. Data is encrypted in transit. Supabase does not use your data for its own purposes.
Data on your device remains until you delete it or uninstall the app. Your cloud backup is kept until you overwrite it with a newer backup or delete your account. We do not keep backups after an account is deleted.
You can permanently delete your account and your cloud backup at any time from inside the app: More → Account & backup → Delete account & data. This removes your account and backup from our servers and cannot be undone.

The app is intended for adults of legal gambling age and is not directed at children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new "last updated" date.
